Hike Near Laji Mountain
After breakfast, drive to visit
Laji Mountain
(single cable car incl., hike around 1.5 hours), which is called “Gongmula” in Tibetan, meaning the place where Gala chicken (stone chicken) lives. The highest peak on the mountain is 4524 meters above sea level. Laji Mountain is the boundary between Huangzhong and Guide, and also the boundary between the Loess Plateau and the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.
Explore the Kanbula National Park
After enjoying your breakfast, drive to the
Kanbula National Park
. It
is composed of
the Danxia landform, forest vegetation, religious culture, power station dam, canyon reservoir area, and Tibetan customs, integrating natural landscape and cultural landscape. See
Namzong Nunnery
inside the park, then hike to viewpoints and pagodas and see a small
Tibetan farmer village.

Visit the Longwu Monastery and admire Tang-ga painting
After breakfast, drive to
Longwu Monastery
. It is built on the mountain and has a well-arranged layout and magnificent decoration. Take a short hike to experience Tibetan Buddhist culture.
