Beijing 2-Day Private Tour
Experience the Imperial Majesty and Ancient Wonders
Overview
In this 2-days trip, you will experience the most famous places of interests of Beijing with private driver, accompany by a very knowledgeable tour guide. In this private tour, during the first day, you will visit Tian’anmen Square and wander in the largest imperial palace: Forbidden City. After lunch, we head to hutong area and discover the local people’s life there. The tour will be end at Temple of Heaven, the largest imperial place of worship from ancient times.
On the second day, we will visit the Great Wall and Summer Palace, hike up to the Great Wall in the morning and experience the toboggan ride down from the wall. After lunch, we head to Summer Palace to see the palace and lake view of the beautiful imperial park.

Itinerary
Day 1: Tian’anmen Square, Forbidden City, Hutongs, Temple of Heaven
8:00 – 8:30
Pick you up at the hotel lobby.
Visit Tian’anmen Square, explore the sites around the square with opportunities to take amazing pictures; you will spend a couple of hours wandering around the magnificent Forbidden City which is an amazing example of Imperial architecture, and you will learn about the history and stories of the palace.
Have lunch in a local Chinese restaurant.
Drive to Hutong (old residential area). Walk around old Beijing hutong nearby Shichahai Lake, Hutong is a Mongolian word meaning water well. At nine meters (about 30 feet) wide, it is the name given to a lane or small street that originated during the Yuan Dynasty (1271–1368). Now they have become representatives of local culture, thus it is the first choice for people who would like to learn about the local history and culture.
Head to Temple of Heaven, the largest imperial place of worship from ancient times. This special place becomes a park where the local community utilizes this beautiful and enormous space for social activities such as singing, dancing, and Tai Chi practice.
Drive you back to hotel.
Day 2: Mutianyu Wall, Summer Palace
8:30 – 9:00
Pick up at your hotel.
Visit Mutianyu Great Wall, one of the most famous and ideal sections of the Great Wall. You will have your choice of taking the cable car or chair lift up the breathtaking wall and spend a leisurely 1 to 2 hours hiking up and down the various section exploring the Watch Towers.
Lunch time, you can enjoy authentic and delicious Chinese dishes at a local restaurant.
Visit Summer Palace, a summer resort for Imperial Family Members which is considered to be the best-preserved Imperial Park.
