Day Tour - Phnom Penh visit to Oudong & Silver Treasures Full Day Tour
08:00 am: A Journey to Oudong: Our adventure begins with a scenic drive towards Oudong, the former royal capital of Cambodia from the 17th to the 19th century. This historic city offers a glimpse into Cambodia's rich past.
Climbing Phnom Oudong: Ascend Phnom Oudong, a hill overlooking the plains, where several impressive stupas stand as a testament to former kings. Enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and immerse yourself in the serene atmosphere of this sacred site. Learn about the fascinating history of Oudong and the role it played in shaping Cambodia's past.
Delving into Silver work: Following our exploration of Oudong, we'll head to a nearby village renowned for its silversmithing tradition. Witness skilled artisans transform silver into exquisite jewelry, intricate tableware, and decorative objects. Observe the traditional techniques used for generations, from melting and hammering the metal to creating intricate designs.
