Giant Panda Base
Chengdu is called the ‘Hometown of Giant Pandas’, which give you the best chance to see the cutest animal in the world. Chengdu Panda Base is the closest panda base to see over 100 giant pandas and their baby pandas. It will be a lovely experience to see these animals from a close distance.
Leshan Buddha
The Leshan Giant Buddha is a 71m-tall stone statue, constructed from 713-803 during the Tang dynasty. Carved from Cretaceous red bed sandstones, it stands at the confluence of the Min and Dadu Rivers in southern Sichuan, near Leshan. Facing Mount Emei, with rivers beneath its feet, it’s the world’s largest and tallest stone Buddha and the tallest pre-modern statue.
