3 Day Wolong Panda Reserve and Mt. Siguniang Tour
Destination : Chengdu – Wolong – Mt. Siguniang – Chengdu
Day 1: Chengdu – Wolong – Rilong Mt. Siguniang Town
08:30 AM Pick up & Drive: Pick up from your Chengdu hotel. Journey west for 220 KM (approx. 4 hours).
Wolong Panda Base: After a 1.5-hour drive, arrive at the Wolong Panda Base to see the lovely giant pandas.
Balangshan Pass: Continue driving, crossing the scenic Balangshan Pass.
Maobiliang View Point: Stop at the best viewpoint to get a panoramic picture of all four peaks of Mt. Siguniang.
Arrival in Rilong: After the scenic drive, check into your hotel, have dinner, and rest for the night.
Overnight in Rilong Siguniang town
Day 2: Mt. Siguniang Changping Valley
Full Day Exploration: Morning drive to Changping Valley, the location of the Four Maiden Mountains.
Explore the Valley: Since only part of the road is open to traffic, you’ll explore the pristine scenery by walking or optional horse riding.
Natural Scenery: The valley is a stunning combination of dense forests, deep valleys, and magnificent snowy mountains towering above.
Picturesque Views: Spend the day immersing yourself in the breathtaking landscape and capturing beautiful photos.
Overnight in Rilong Siguniang Town
Day 3: Shuangqiao Valley & Return to Chengdu
Shuangqiao Valley Visit: In the morning, visit Shuangqiao (Two-Bridge) Valley, the most accessible valley in the area.
Key Features: Notable for extensive Alpine grasslands, meadows, interesting rock formations, and clear views of the snowy peaks.
Pleasant Walking: A wooden plank path makes for a comfortable and enjoyable walk as you explore the length of the valley.
Return to Chengdu: After lunch, begin the 4-hour drive back to Chengdu where the tour concludes.
