144-Hour Transit Visa-Free
Travelers from 53+ countries can transit through major Chinese cities for up to 144 hours (6 days) without a visa. Eligible cities: Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Xi'an, Kunming, and more. Tourist Visa (L-Visa) Application
For stays longer than 15 days, apply for an L (tourist) visa. Process: 1) Complete online application (COVA), 2) Submit documents to CVASC, 3) Wait 4-7 business days.
