Tour Overview

Day 1: Arrive in Hanoi, Vietnam

Welcome at Hanoi International Airport by your guide and driver. Transfer to your hotel at Hanoi Pearl Hotel (4-Star). Relax and adjust to the time zone.

Day 2: Hanoi City Highlights

• Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum — Pay respects at the final resting place of Vietnam’s revolutionary leader (closed Mon/Fri and all afternoons)
• One Pillar Pagoda — Iconic 11th-century Buddhist temple behind the mausoleum
• Temple of Literature — Vietnam’s first national university (1070), dedicated to Confucius
• Museum of Ethnology — Extensive collection of traditional costumes and artifacts from Vietnam’s 54 ethnic groups
• 1-Hour Cyclo Ride — Navigate the chaotic charm of Hanoi’s Old Quarter
• Water Puppet Show — Unique traditional art form of northern Vietnam

Day 3: Halong Bay Overnight Cruise

Depart Hanoi at 08:15 aboard shared transfer to Halong Bay. Board Bahaya Cruise at 12:30. Cruise to Trinh Nu Cave, swim and kayak at a private beach behind the cave. Join Happy Hour for drinks, Vietnamese cooking class, and night squid fishing.

Day 4: Halong Bay → Hanoi → Ho Chi Minh City

Morning Tai Chi session on deck. Final kayaking in Halong Bay’s stunning seascape. Check out at 10:30, return to Hanoi by private car. Fly to Ho Chi Minh City. Check in at Liberty Central Saigon (4-Star).

Day 5: Ho Chi Minh City & Cu Chi Tunnels

• Notre Dame Cathedral — French colonial masterpiece built 1863-1880
• Central Post Office — Designed by Gustave Eiffel
• War Remnants Museum — Powerful exhibits documenting the Vietnam War
• Vietnamese Coffee Experience — Enjoy street-side coffee with a mini Vietnamese language lesson
• Cu Chi Tunnels — Crawl through the 250km underground network that played a crucial role in the Vietnam War

Day 6: Mekong Delta — Ben Tre

1.5-hour drive to Ben Tre in the Mekong Delta. Board a motorboat through stilt houses and fishing farms. Visit a family-run coconut candy workshop. Paddle through small canals on a traditional sampan for an intimate delta experience.

Day 7: Ho Chi Minh City → Siem Reap, Cambodia

Private transfer to airport. Fly to Siem Reap, gateway to the magnificent Angkor temples. Check in at Tara Angkor Hotel (4-Star).

Day 8: Angkor Wat & Angkor Thom Full-Day

• Angkor Wat — The world’s largest religious monument, hear the fascinating stories of its construction from your local guide
• Angkor Thom — The last capital of the Khmer Empire, enter through the dramatic South Gate
• Bayon Temple — 216 giant smiling stone faces gazing in all directions

Day 9: Banteay Srei, Land Mine Museum & Tonle Sap Lake

• Land Mine Museum — Learn about Cambodia’s tragic landmine history and ongoing clearance efforts
• Ox Cart Ride — Ride through peaceful countryside past rice paddies
• Kampong Phluk Floating Village — Boat to this stilted community on Tonle Sap Lake
• Sunset Cocktails — Enjoy drinks as the sun sets over Southeast Asia’s largest freshwater lake

Day 10: Siem Reap → Bangkok, Thailand

Sawatdee ka! Arrive at Bangkok International Airport. Transfer to Eastin Grand Hotel Sathorn Bangkok (4-Star).

Day 11: Bangkok Classic Full-Day Tour

• Wat Pho — Bangkok’s oldest and largest temple complex, home to the 46m-long reclining Buddha
• Tuk-Tuk Ride — Zip through Pak Klong Talad Flower Market
• Grand Palace & Emerald Buddha — Thailand’s most sacred temple and former royal residence
• Longtail Boat — Cruise through Thonburi’s ancient canals to Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn)
• Chinatown — Walk through old Bangkok’s bustling streets

Day 12: Bangkok → Chiang Mai

Private transfer to airport. Fly to Chiang Mai, the “Rose of the North.” Check in at Phra Singh Village (4-Star).

Day 13: Chiang Mai City & Doi Suthep

• Local Market Visit — Experience authentic Thai daily life at flower and food markets

Day 14: Elephant Jungle Sanctuary Full-Day

1.5-hour drive to a Karen hill-tribe village and the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary. Spend the day learning about each elephant’s personality, history, and daily routine. Feed, bathe, and play with the elephants in a natural, ethical environment. No riding — purely interactive and educational.

Day 15: Departure from Chiang Mai
