Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1:

Arrival & Ancient City Wall. Airport pickup. Late afternoon: bike ride atop the 600-year-old Ming Dynasty City Wall at sunset (14km circuit). Evening: Muslim Quarter food walk — yangrou paomo (lamb soup), grilled lamb skewers, fresh pomegranate juice.

Day 2:

Terracotta Warriors & Tang Show. Early morning: Terracotta Warriors Museum — Pit 2 (cavalry), Pit 3 (command center), then the massive Pit 1 with 6,000 warriors. Lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon: Terracotta Warriors factory workshop. Evening: Tang Dynasty music & dance show with dumpling banquet.

Day 3:

Big Wild Goose Pagoda & Departure. Morning: Big Wild Goose Pagoda (652 AD) and Da Ci'en Temple. Shaanxi History Museum or Xi'an Museum at Small Wild Goose Pagoda. Afternoon transfer to airport/train.
