Embark on a 2-day, 1-night private tour from Guilin to Yangshuo. This journey combines the stunning natural scenery of the Li River, the rich ethnic culture of Yangshuo, and the remarkable attractions in Guilin. It’s a perfect way to experience the best of the region.
Day 1: Guilin – Yangshuo
Your adventure starts in the morning when your English-speaking guide picks you up from your Guilin hotel. Drive to Mopanshan Pier and board a boat for a Li River cruise. As you sail, enjoy the beautiful karst landscape with rolling hills, steep cliffs, and bamboo groves. The cruise ends in Yangshuo, an ancient town with a 1400-year-old history.
Explore West Street in Yangshuo, where you can experience the blend of local and western cultures. Browse the vibrant shops, try local food, and soak in the unique atmosphere. Afterward, check into your 4- or 5-star hotel in Yangshuo.
Day 2: Yangshuo – Guilin
After breakfast at the hotel, drive back to Guilin. The first stop is Elephant Trunk Hill, the iconic symbol of Guilin. Admire its unique shape and the surrounding natural scenery and ancient architecture.
Next, visit Seven Star Park, Guilin’s largest and most comprehensive park. Explore its mountains, clear waters, stone forest, and cultural relics.
Finally, head to Reed Flute Cave, a fascinating underground cave filled with stalactites, stone pillars, and rock formations. Listen to the guide’s stories as you marvel at this natural wonder. At the end of the tour, you’ll be transferred back to your Guilin hotel or to the airport/train station for your onward journey.
