Tour Overview
Embark on a 4-day, 3-night private tour to explore the best of Guilin and Yangshuo. Discover iconic landscapes, unique karst formations, ancient caves, and vibrant local cultures. This tour includes accommodation in 4- or 5-star hotels, transfers, daily breakfasts, and a professional English-speaking guide for an unforgettable experience.
Day 1: Arrival in Guilin
Upon arrival at Guilin’s airport or train station, your English-speaking guide will greet you. Relax during the transfer to your hotel in the heart of Guilin. Along the way, your guide will share the city’s history and key attractions. After checking in, you can explore the area around the hotel or unwind at the hotel.
Day 2: Guilin – Longsheng – Guilin
Start your day with a hotel breakfast, then head to the Reed Flute Cave. Walk through the cave and admire the 180-million-year-old stalactite formations, which are illuminated to showcase their unique shapes. Next, drive to the Longji Rice Terraces in Longsheng.
Marvel at the vast rice terraces, a remarkable feat of agricultural engineering. Climb the terraces for a breathtaking view and learn about the Zhuang and Yao ethnic groups’ cultures. Return to Guilin in the evening, and your guide can recommend a place for dinner.
Day 3: Guilin – Yangshuo
Check out of your Guilin hotel and take a half-day Li River cruise from Zhujiang Pier. Enjoy the karst landscape as you cruise to Yangshuo. Once in Yangshuo, experience the laid-back atmosphere of the town. Explore West Street, try local food like beer fish, and enjoy a free evening.
Day 4: Yangshuo – Guilin and Departure
After breakfast and checking out of your Yangshuo hotel, your guide will transfer you to Guilin’s train station or airport for your next destination. If you want to continue your travels in China, our travel consultants can assist with bookings and arrangements.
