Day 1: Arrive Jeju — Southern Coast

Fly to Jeju Island. Afternoon explore the southern coast: Jusangjeolli Cliff — stunning hexagonal basalt columns formed by volcanic lava. Cheonjeyeon Waterfall — “Pond of the Gods,” a 3-tier waterfall. Oedolgae Rock — a dramatic sea stack at sunset. Black pork BBQ dinner — Jeju’s most famous dish. Overnight in Seogwipo.

Day 2: Hallasan — Korea’s Highest Mountain

Full day: climb Hallasan (1,947m) — the shield volcano at the heart of Jeju. Take the Seongpanak Trail (9.6km, 4-5 hours one way) through ancient forests to Baengnokdam Crater Lake at the summit. Panoramic views of the entire island. Descend via Gwaneumsa Trail for variety. Overnight in Seogwipo.

Day 3: Olle Trails & Eastern Wonders

Morning sunrise at Seongsan Ilchulbong (UNESCO) — climb the 182m volcanic tuff cone with its perfect bowl-shaped crater. Afternoon: walk sections of the famous Jeju Olle Trails — a 437km network of coastal walking paths. Seopjikoji — the dramatic cape with lighthouse, canola fields, and the iconic hilltop house. Manjanggul Lava Tube (UNESCO) — the world’s longest known lava tube, walk 1km underground. Overnight in Jeju City.

Day 4: Haenyeo — Women of the Sea

Morning at Hado Beach to watch the Jeju Haenyeo (UNESCO Intangible Heritage) — grandmother free-divers who plunge 10-20 meters without oxygen tanks to harvest abalone, conch, and seaweed. Visit the Haenyeo Museum. Afternoon: Bijarim Forest — a mystical forest of 2,800 nutmeg yew trees, some 800+ years old. Woljeongri Beach — turquoise water, white sand, and trendy beachfront cafes. Overnight in Jeju City.

Day 5: Western Jeju & Tea Culture

Drive to western Jeju. O’Sulloc Tea Museum — Korea’s largest green tea plantation with stunning views of the fields. Hallim Park — botanical gardens with subtropical plants, lava caves, and bonsai. Hyeopjae Beach — crystal-clear emerald water with Biyangdo Island on the horizon. Evening: Jeju Dongmun Market — fresh seafood, tangerines, and street food. Overnight in Jeju City.

Day 6: Depart Jeju

Morning at Yongduam Rock — “Dragon Head Rock” on the coast. Last taste of Jeju: tangerine juice and hallabong. Airport transfer. Safe travels!
