Day 1: Arrive Seoul — Spring Blossoms
Welcome to Korea in bloom! Airport pickup. Evening walk along Cheonggyecheon Stream — cherry trees line the urban waterway. Visit Namsan Seoul Tower for panoramic city views. Overnight in Seoul.
Day 2: Seoul Cherry Blossom Hotspots
Morning at Yeouido Spring Flower Festival — Seoul’s most famous cherry blossom avenue with 1,886 cherry trees along the Han River. Gyeongbokgung Palace — the grandest of Seoul’s royal palaces, even more stunning framed by pink blossoms. Rent a hanbok (traditional Korean dress) for the ultimate photos. Afternoon: Seokchon Lake — cherry trees reflected in the lake with Lotte World Tower backdrop. Overnight in Seoul.
Day 3: Jinhae — Korea’s Cherry Blossom Capital
Drive to Jinhae — home to the world’s largest cherry blossom festival with 360,000 trees. Walk the iconic Yeojwacheon Romance Bridge — cherry petals fall like pink snow on the stream. Gyeonghwa Station — where trains pass through tunnels of cherry blossoms. Afternoon drive to Busan. Overnight in Busan.
Day 4: Busan & Gyeongju
Morning: Haeundae Beach and Gamcheon Culture Village — Busan’s colorful “Machu Picchu.” Drive to Gyeongju — “the museum without walls,” capital of the Silla Dynasty (57 BC-935 AD). Bomun Lake — a 9km cherry blossom ring road. Bulguksa Temple (UNESCO) and Seokguram Grotto. Overnight in Gyeongju.
Day 5: Gyeongju to Jeju Island
Morning: Daereungwon Tomb Complex — ancient royal burial mounds covered in pink blossoms. Cheomseongdae Observatory — the oldest surviving astronomical observatory in East Asia. Fly to Jeju Island. Afternoon: Jeju Cherry Blossom Festival — the king cherry trees of Jeju are native to the island with the largest petals. Overnight in Jeju.
Day 6: Jeju — Island of Spring
Full day exploring Jeju: Seongsan Ilchulbong (Sunrise Peak) — a volcanic tuff cone rising from the sea. Jeju Canola Flower Festival — endless yellow fields against blue ocean. Manjanggul Lava Tube (UNESCO). Seopjikoji — the dramatic coastal cliff where Korean dramas are filmed. Evening: Jeju black pork BBQ dinner. Overnight in Jeju.
Day 7: Jeju to Seoul & Depart
Morning at Hallim Park — botanical gardens and Hyeopjae Beach. Fly to Seoul. Last-minute shopping at Myeongdong or Insadong. Airport transfer. Safe travels!
