3-Day Zhangjiajie Adventure: Discovering Nature’s Majesty
Tour Overview
Embark on a 3-day, 2-night private tour to Zhangjiajie and immerse yourself in its spectacular natural scenery. Explore unique sandstone landforms, take thrilling rides on cable cars and elevators, and experience the beauty of Tianmen Mountain. This tour includes accommodation, transfers, and a professional English – speaking guide for an unforgettable journey.
Day 1: Arrival in Zhangjiajie
Upon arriving in Zhangjiajie, your English – speaking guide and driver will welcome you and transfer you to your pre – booked 4 – or 5 – star hotel. After checking in, you have the rest of the day to relax or explore the area around the hotel at your own pace.
Day 2: Tianzi Mountain – Yuanjiajie – Ten Mile Gallery
Start your day with breakfast at the hotel. Then, head to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. Take a cable car to the top of Tianzi Mountain and enjoy the panoramic views of the unique sandstone landforms.
Next, take a shuttle bus to Yuanjiajie Scenic Area. Walk among the ancient trees, mossy stones, and peculiar rocks, and see the prototype of the “Hallelujah Mountains” from the film Avatar. After lunch (arranged on your own), walk to the Bailong Elevator for a quick descent.
Board a shuttle bus to the Ten – mile Natural Gallery and take a small train to admire the misty karst landscape. At the end of the day, return to your hotel.
Day 3: Zhangjiajie and Departure
After breakfast, your guide will take you to Tianmen Mountain. Take the world’s longest cable car to the mountain top and walk on the glass Sky Walk, 1430 meters above the ground.
Take an escalator to Tianmen Cave, a natural wonder, and take photos of the surrounding scenery and the 999 steps. Then, take an escalator down the mountain and a shuttle bus through the 99 – bend road. Finally, your guide will transfer you to the airport or train station for your next destination.
